Good farmers rain. It didn’t smash down, but just drizzled all night. We were both thankful for the nice feather & down quilt for a comfy nights sleep.

As per the BOM forecast it kicked off promptly around 19.00 last night and has continued ever since.
It’s not unwelcome for the locals. It’s a good steady soaking rain that will penetrate the soil and provide good moisture for the months to come....

Day 16 Cruise Adele Island

Today we cruised to Adele Island appearing 65 miles away from Kimberley’s rugged coast. The changeable sands of the island expand and contract with the contented sighs of the tides, and wide sandbanks ebb and flow with the whims of the water....

Nyngan

Arrived in Nyngan abt 13.30.

It’s an easy run from Dunedoo via Dubbo to Nyngan. It’s flat & while it’s only 1 lane each way, the lanes are wide enough to give everyone room to safely travel.

Lots of dead Roos on the road & beside it. Very green as well....

Off to Nyngan via Dubbo.

We stayed in Dunedoo overnight. A quick breakfast and then we’re off on the road again. ...

Arrived Dunedoo

We arrived at Dunedoo about 17.30.
