A few months back a couple mates and I did a quick trip to Lake Ballard in the outback of WA. This lake is famous for the bronze statues that have been placed in the 50 sq/km of the SE corner. Our intent was to take some special photos called 'Painting with Light'....

We have just completed a weekend trip to the wildflower distric. What a stunning scene with carpets of flowers. I attempted a trip 2 years ago even though there was very little rain and went to some of the same places but saw nothing....
