For sale is my 1985 Dario Cobber caravan. Do not be fooled by the age people, this van is in great condition. It IS full of road rated, custom built by outback photographer by Dario Caravans. It is a 16 foot van, strong full steel chassis, proper independent suspension (extremely rare and expensive back in it's day), double chassis draw bar, on light truck tyres, good ground clearance. Total length including draw bar is about 6.5-7m. On the outside it has all new wiring, freshly sealed with marine silicone (all panels and windows including roof and aircon), new gas bottles x2 still fairly full, new water tank pump, a pole/fishing rod holder at the back, anderson plug for charging the battery off your vehicle, a ratchet style 'ezmover' jockey wheel for easy parking/hooking up, and comes with load stabiliser towbar for car and attachments for van to stop sway on highway. Also has brand new swing down stablising legs on van for quick set up. On the interior things get even better. It is much more modern and comfortable than 95% of vans from it's era, still looks fairly modern inside! Has reverse cycle heating and aircon which is very nice when away, double bed with quality foam mattress. Van came with 2 single bunks easy to change back, double bed has attachment which can fold up halfway and attach to wall if access to bottom draws or under bed storage is needed. Comes with upper single bunk. Also electric blankets for double bed. Full 12/240 lighting throughout including exterior light. Most of the interior has been rewired. Has new Century deep cycle battery and permantently attached C-TEK maintenance charger, just turn the power switch on to charge on site or home, also charged off car while driving. Battery includes isolator solenoid so doesn't flatten your car battery, true dual battery setup. Battery runs new Pioneer stereo with iPod integration and holder, powering new Sony speakers all round, also the 12v fridge which also runs on 240v, can be run on gas too, and cooling fans for fridge in summer for a helping hand. Running a twin filter water setup under the sink, filtering both mains and tank water, so no problem filling up while away. Double temp gauge for fridge/freezer, be sure what it's running at! Microwave, dual burner stove with grill, brand new quality curtains to keep the light out in the morning. New 1080p HDTV with HDMI input, usb input etc, hooked into the stereo for good sound. Dedicated space for PS3/DVD/Blu-Ray player etc. HEAPS of storage/cupboards/draws throughout, no shortage of space. Removable table. Can sleep 4 comfortably if needed, 2 on double bed, one on single bunk if put back in, and easily 1 child on couch. Also handy feature is the external air filter as seen on door side in pictures, attached to a pressurising fan on the inside. Switch on while on dirt and the air pressure inside keeps the dust out of cracks etc, keeping the inside of your van clean on dusty roads! Even has a pull out clothes line inside for gods sake. Come on folks don't want to sell it, but due to circumstances outside of my control I no longer own a tow car, so no point sitting on this when not using it. Served me faithfully and would like to see it go to someone who will enjoy it. Have put much time and effort into this van to make it as comfy and home like as possible for a van this size.
