Apart from a sleepless night being blown around with gale force winds
we still managed to smile!
Our site was on the waterfront, lovely spot, settling in for the
night when out of the blue came roaring winds that tried to tear our
camper apart. Jay thought it would last a few hours or so but the
winds and torrential rain continued into early morning.
Tired, we moved into a cabin for the next night, our happy hour night.
With the weather still blowy and rain we didn't expect too many to
arrive for the happy hour but to our suprise we had lots turn up to
join in on all the fun. We were all rugged up for the party!
One family that came along who call themselves 'The Magnificent
Seven', came down just to met with Jay and I. Unfortunately they had
also entered 'Follow the Sun' competition and had made it to the top
nine finalists but did not make the lucky top three winners. They
still felt like winners making the top nine and wanted to join our
happy hour to congratulate Jay and I.
And yes, they are a family of seven. We had a great night, the
'Magnificent Seven' even won some of the Waeco prises, maybe they
should call themselves 'The Lucky Seven'.Sent from my iPhone
