In order to make searching the ExplorOz
shop as easy as possible, there are 5 available
search options. Each has their own specific advantages. See below -
Text Search
The 'Text
Search' function allows users to
search the ExplorOz Online
Shop based on a specific keyword(s). Simply type the product name, location or keyword into the ‘Text
Search’ box, and click ‘
Search All’. The result set will be based upon the keyword(s) you have entered.

Browse within Category
Browse By Category
Browsing by category allows users to refine their
search by the sort of product they require. To browse by category, click the corresponding category link (eg Maps). The result set will be based upon the category you have selected. Depending on the selected category, you can then refine your results again by using the “Browse within Category” links (Located in the same position).
Brand Search
If you know the brand of the product you are looking for, you can use the Brand
Search function. Click the drop down list, and select the brand of the product you require. Click ‘Go’. The results will be limited to the selected brand. Depending on the brand selected, you can refine your results again by using the “Browse within Category” links.

The Geographic
Search allows users to
search the ExplorOz Online
Shop based upon a particular geographic region. To find a product using the Geographic
Search - Select a single point on the map by clicking and holding your left mouse button, while holding your left mouse button draw a square around the location of the products you require. The map will redraw and you can refine your
search by using the category
search above the map. The results will be limited to the location you have selected. You can click the reset button at any time to reset the map.
Place Find
Place Find
If you know the name of a place but you don't know it's exact position to enable using the Geographic
Search (as outlined above) you can use the Place Find
search. Type the name of the place and push enter on your keyboard. If you have entered a valid place name, the map will display a small red balloon. Click the balloon to expand and display the name (and possibly a picture) of the selected location. Click “View Maps & Books” within the expanded balloon to view our product range specific to that Place.
