The Port Hunter 4x4 Club is a fun and friendly club based in the Lake Macquarie/Newcastle region of NSW.

The club meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month (except January) at Club Macquarie, 458 Lake Road Argenton at 7:15pm for a 7:30pm start.

We generally put on one or more trips per month to various 4WD and camping destinations and offer capable instruction on 4WD technique during these trips. For ease of communications and safety, everyone attending is required to carry a UHF radio (Channel 10) on board.

As a club, we strongly support "Tread Lightly!" ideals and consciously endeavour to make as minimal an impact as possible on the terrain we travel through.

Prospective members are made more than welcome on club trips as visitors, with the exception of red trips.
