The Gove Peninsula Festival is the single largest community event held in
Nhulunbuy.
This years central theme is '40 year of
Nhulunbuy - 40 years Ahead'. The festival begins with an art exhibition launch and over the course of the festival there will be food stalls to tempt your taste buds, live entertainment, a mini-Olympics and a parade.
The Gove Peninsula Festival is a family fun day and aims to promote a sense of community by way of public involvement. In the past this festival has been a key fundraising and
membership drive for many local clubs and organisations.
