Tumut's Festival of the Falling Leaf celebrated it's 60th anniversary in 2014. The festivities start with a street parade heralding the start of the Gala Day. The parade is supported by local schools and business and members of the community and surrounding regions. With over 3500 people having attend the festival this event is huge for Tumut. Following the parade it is a short walk to the magnificent Bila Park which is a sight of yellows, golds, reds and browns as the leaves start to fall. With hundreds of stalls there is something for everyone. The Gala Day closes at 4pm but the fun continues at Bull Paddock with night of great food, drinks and entertainment followed by a fantastic fireworks display.
