In 2016
Grenfell will celebrate 150 years since the town was foundered after the discovery of Gold at O’Brien’s
Hill by shepherd Cornelius O’Brien.
This will be celebrated with a year of activities starting at January 26th at Australia Day in Taylor Park and concluding with 3 days of activates on the October long weekend (1-3rd October 2016).
