The Mullet
Yellow-eye mullet congregate in schools in the southern waters of
Australia. Prefers areas with sand or mud bottoms in water depths up to 20m.
Catching a Mullet
Mullet responds very well to any berley. Try several baited hooks set under a float near the surface. For targeting surf species use a twin dropper paternoster rig

Eating a Mullet
Strong Distinctive flavour, moist soft to medium flesh that is pink to grey in colour. has medium oiliness that is much higher during their migration (April - May)
