Have been chasing prices for TX 3400 with 2.1m CD6 heavy duty aerial ( recommended by exploroz)
Can somebody tell me how I am going price wise

John, The scan facility on 3200 is not as versatile as the one on 3400. For extra bikkies, the 3400 is better. Most people wouldn't need selcall, they are both good units. Aussie made too. Safe travelling...

replied: John, Go the bit extra and get the "Top of the range" TX4400. They are the most advanced UHF set available and have all available features. the extra 20 channels are user programmable (as opposed to trucksters recommended model which is dealer programmable)
