Rain in Macdonnel Ranges!!!
Submitted: Wednesday, Oct 01, 2003 at 00:04

Well after a long dry spell we have had rain actually hit the ground and it looks reasonably spread thru the ranges.
May even get a couple of rings in the water tanks!!!
No widespread rain here for 6 mths.
Ahhhhhh.
Good luck to others in dry times.

replied: Good to hear you got some rain. I measured 19.5mm here in
Peterborough
and it is still spitting. Should be a good crop of wheat and canola this year.
Cheers,
WillieNever a dull moment

I went out to the West Mac's today. There's a tinge of green everywhere. Rained quite a bit again last night in Alice and it looked like it did in the mac's too. My email is traveller1010@hotmail.com if anyone up here wants to catch up.
cheers, Karen

Hi Karen hope you are enjoying your trip let us all know were you've been etc and if you enjoyed it.
The rain should slowly build up till chrissy or afterwards, if i hadn't experienced it I would never of beleived i could feel cold at 25'C.
We won't be going to town for about a month or 2.
Let us know also if you've got any quest's.
