No pics sorry Moose, but just remember there is little vibration with these pupms, they can be mounted vertically for the spindle. Probably best to have the pump below the motor because of potential leakage and keeping the electric motor dry. That being the case keep the motor above planned water heights for river crossings. Can be on the firewall or any solid surface, including guards near the water source.

In most cases the pumps are self priming, but be aware that dirt can get under the valve seat so best if the water head is high to make it easier to prime the pump. In a wagon or troopie the pump could be adjacent to the tank inside the panel work I would guess.

The crucial thing about the heat exchanger is keeping the pipework for primary heating water short and the heat exchanger from vibration or striking damage letting your precious water go. Not sure if the Glind has taps to turn off water going to the heat exchanger, but they would help protect your engine coolant loss. A mate has his mounted in the back of his bull bar for protection. Out of the way and easy to put a brass garden connection drilled into the bullbar to easily access the water at the front of his 4by. Just a clipin for a shower, turning on your taps.
