section of this page. We went through in August last year the road is well established but some of the dirt on the Olgas to Docker River will give your dentures a workout. I'm told there's always some sections which are good and some otherwise.
Weather
at that time of the year was great, warm days, fairly cold nights, good under the doona. The only other point relates to fuel availability, plenty of diesel but most roadhouses on the GCR do not sell ULP due to the petrol sniffing problem in these communities.
Weather
should be fairly good out there anywhere from April to October. Enjoy your trip.
Regards,
Slim.

Last fuel at Yalara ,next at Laverton . Althrough i have heard thay are selling ulp again at
Tjukayirla roadhouse
, but you will have to check on that . The Plenty hwy will also test your supension out , unless you strike the grader out there . Otherwise its a good run across . Make sure you have your
permits
. If thay ask to see them at Yalara park enterance & if you havent got them , thay will not let you pass through the park & its the only way onto the GCR . Have a good trip , stop off in York & say goday ( blacksmith at Jar-Roc ) if you get time ( but not in June , thats
Kimberley
time for us ) . Why go overseas when you can ExplorOz

10 para,
The road is definitely not a problem for a camper trailer, just back off your tyre pressures a little if it's rough and drive accordingly. If you are on ULP I would do so homework on availability as this dirt section is about ?1200 km.

Slim.........
