There is a little lag from 800 to1000 rpm before it takes off and oh what a feeling. The turbo wastes out about 3500 to 4000rpm but there is no need to push it that hard. He tells me his fuel consumption has gone from about 7.5 to 10 klm to the lt. I have mine booked in at berrima for the up grade, they dont use unicip but a better brand THEY SAY. If it does not work in mine its fully removable and i will sell the car with out it.
My car has had several mods. to fix all sorts of things suggest you get an nrma insp. done before it runs out.

As with most things the skill of the installer will make a big difference with the Unichip. Safari dealers share info. on installs but every car is different. Try and get an installer who really knows EFI systems well.
