Farm Stays around Lawn Hill

Submitted: Tuesday, Feb 03, 2004 at 19:20

Usher

Can any body provide any info on farm stays in and around Lawn Hill QLD as we are going on holidays in June-July of this year. Prefer to stay on these type of properties, to avoid national parks CRAP!!!.

So any info would be much appreciated.

Thank you
Usher

Please accept my vote for Adels Grove, it's great and the people there are friendly and helpful. As for the NP service in Lawn Hill...........No, there wasn't any. But It's an absolutely brilliant place to visit.

Check out the riverside campsites on the Gregory while you're in the area as well, that should be good for a couple of nights.

Happy trails, Mike.

I agree with Mike 100% on both points.

Adels is magic, and sitting with your feet dangling in the crystal clear water of The Gregory on a warm Nth Qld winter day [with a stubbie in hand of course] is one of lifes more subtle pleasures

Enjoy the bush
