Thanks Keith, very kind of you.

My biggest challenge is to not eat the chokkies we get for the grandees.

I'm not winning.

I'm glad I ain't too scared to be lazy

Same to you Keith and all forumites, staff and owners.

We're sitting this one out but for all you travellers: leave in plenty of time and then there's no rush. Take it easy and have a great holiday.

Same to you and yours Keith. We are travelling in central nsw, presently camped at Temora Air Port and enjoying Nat Fly so like you, we won't be going too far. The weather is perfect at the moment so everyone have a great week end. Cheers, Bob

Hi Bob,
we are planning to spend a fortnight in Temora next year so the war office can catch up with her rellies. Would you recommend the CP in town or the one near the airport? I assume you are staying at the CP near the air port.
Happy and safe travels and hope you can help
Rgds

Hi Nev. Although we are at the airport c/p, we are fully self contained so are in the overflow area which is only $15 p/n. I think this only operates over high use times though. It is the better park of the two, much quieter and newer amenities. The rate is $25 p/n, pay for 5 and get 2 more free. The other park is on the main road into town and not too far from the rail line, so can be a bit noisy.
There is also Showground camping, which is on the way out to the airport. It is $15 p/n but haven't stayed there to offer an opinion. Our pick is the airport as it is next to the air museum and about 2k from town, reasonably quiet as I said and it is interesting to see the airport goings on, including the mail plane. It also has beautiful sunsets because it is a pretty flat area. Cheers, Bob
