<span class="highlight">Caravan</span> battery's

I have just bought two Lifepo4 90 ah Winston Batteries from EV works in Perth. $509 each plus freight.

On paper, they look like the ducks nuts. Weight is 15 kilos each, so that is half the weight per ah and smaller. Promised life is much longer and cycle is deeper than AGM. I took ages to research how to charge them. I'm still undecided. The maker and seller are both saying my current caravan/solar/generator system will be fine. Some internet experts believe they need special chargers.

Only time will tell.

Lots of choices, if you charge directly off car with then make sure whatever
you purchase can accept high charge currents assuming no DCDC charger.

Some also have trouble charging the allrounders due to them being a full calcium battery.

Lipo is an option as above but they are expensive and personally I'm sticking with lead acid until the other technologies prove themselves, there's been a lot of batteries over the years that were going to do away with lead acid batteries but it hasn't happened yet!
