Looking to upgrade our coromal 401 offroad rear door van. These are very good vans and its a pity coromal dont build a slightly bigger one but they recon there is no market in WA for 14 or 15 ft vans. Not much availible in WA in the 14.6 x 7 ft range off road pop top that we want. Plenty over east but brands like trackmaster, pheonix, bushmaster etc are really big money. Narrowed the choice down a bit and looking at a paramount custom built. They have a seller here so someone local to deal with if we go ahead and issues come up as they do from time to time. Anyone out there have one off their off road vans. The specs are good, cruisemaster suspension, 6inch galv chassis, etc etc at a reasonable price. Jayco make a similar size off road van with newly developed independant suspension and every extra included (no inside toilet and shower but outside shower)for around $37000. For a custom built the best i can find is about $10000 more so if there are any owners out there that have a paramount your opinion would be highly valued.
Cheers Graeme.

Hi Ian. Think you mean the atlas. That van is the same as the one we have with a rear door. If they changed the design slightly and had a side entry I would have upgraded to one. They may have increased the length by 30cm and ill run a tape over one to check.

Cheers Graeme.

Thanks Graeme, you are right should have checked.
I am looking at a 402xc or a A432RTV as I don't want anything larger.

Hi Mazzy. Does yours have the new suspension system. Jayco have it on the new outback models which are certainly very good value. We are going to have a look at the 14ft outback poptop when they get one in. No dealers down here and means going to perth if they can get one.
cheers Graeme.
