Hi All,

Just after some information on what the track is like from Balladonia to Mt Ragged in the Cape Arid National Park is like, we are heading there in October, any info would be great.

Cheers Shane

Shane,

Have traveled this road a few times.

Lots of little rocks/stones around once you turn south where Balladonia Road intersects Parmango Road....lowering trye pressures helps to smooth the road. Some slower rocky spots in places. The top half of Balladonia road is usually not a bad dirt road. Heading south from the intersection can be tight in the bottom half, with a few bog holes if wet, heading into Israelite Bay. This section has good views to the ocean and Mt Ragged.

We traveled with our camper trailer last time without any issues.

Brett....

Travelled down the track 2 years ago with a camper trailer in tow. Not a bad road/track but a bit rocky in places. Didn't drop the tyres as we didn't travel very fast. Cape Arid a great spot, down there early this year. Good fishing, lovely Abalone!!
If you want a bad track try the Rawlinna to Cockelbiddy one. 12 hours to travel 156 Ks.

Cheers
