Johno59,
The road from Leigh Creek to Marree is fairly good with only about 40k's of dirt.
The Strzelecki track would be a lot rougher, we have just towed a T-van down it from Strzelecki Creek to Lyndhurst although it is rough in patches if you just take it easy and avoid the bull dust holes you should be OK.
Cheers
Graham

Depends on whether your caravan is built for those surfaces Johnno. Oh..... and.....the driver has a great deal to do with happy gravel road travel too !

Johno all depends if your caravan is an off roader. If not I would be a little wary about taking a van up there at the moment.
We just returned from a trip to Innamincka/Coongie Lake towing an off road camper . The Strezleckie track is really rough in sections. Actually its the worst I have seen it in twenty odd years travelling to the area.
We went up via Moomba and returned by the old Strezleckie and then down through Wooltana and Balcanoona which was a lot easier.

Cheers
Terry
