Hi Julio,
I've stayed in Flametree and Whitsunday Resort. They are both good, but Whitsunday had bigger sites. I think most of the Airlie CPs are well over $40 now.
Nice place though. We'll go back for the third time.

Hi Julio,
Recently stayed at Airlie Cove Big 4. Very good facilities and big sites. Get up the back away from cabins is good idea! Kevin

We've stayed at the Big4 Adventure Whitsunday. Very nice too.

Big4 Adventure Whitsunday.

We also went to Whitehaven Beach on a day trip with this company:

Ocean Rafting

That was also very nice.
I'm glad I ain't too scared to be lazy

IMHO the best Airlie Beach caravan Park is not at Airlie Beach.

If you can stand doing 30KM day trips into Airlie beach the Midge Point Caravan park kills all the parks in Airlie Beach.
It is ( up until now) a secret and we only stayed there after we were forced to by the BRuce Hwy south being closed by a very bad accident.
If we go around that area again we will stay at Midge Point. BTW Midge was a ship that was wrecked there not implying lots of midges.

If you want a value park in the area and not too much travel into the Airlie Beach area then try - Proserpine Tourist Park 79 Anzac Road Proserpine QLD Phone 07 4945 1554 - Badger's report.

Hi
I was at the flame tree park a couple of weeks ago and it was an excellent park as it next to the airport it tends to get a bit noisy from around 7 .30 am but most people are up by them any way

Big 4 Whitsunday is the pick. Will be pricey as its School Holidays now. It has a 4.5 Star rating which one of the top parks ( Big4) in Queensland just behind the Coconut Palms Resort in Cairns with 5 Stars.
