Just an FYI - some maps show Pooncarie as having fuel. It doesn't.

Geoff, Pooncarie had fuel at the general store in April this year, has it closed since then?

Fuel was available at Pooncarie as recently as a month ago.

I would assume so, it's the one on the western side of the river, at least for most of the route. The first 49 km from the Silver City Hwy is actually on the Lower Darling Road and this parallels the High Darling Road which is a little further west.
