EOTopo and Oziexplorer

Have just downloaded the 2015 EOTopo maps and are about to put them onto my tablet running Ozi for Android.

Do I need to load the individual state maps onto the tablet or can I just load the 200 Australia file? Is there a slight increase in speed using the smaller files?

The new EOTopo looks good so far. Road names, place names etc. are much clearer and easier to read. Like the idea of the campsites being displayed also.

Hello

You dont say what tablet you are using (specifications) so a bit hard for people to provide feedback on likely performance speeds between full mosaic and individual states.

My guess is that the full mosaic will be fine. Try it and see. Obviously (?) use OZF format if possible when using Oziexplorer - these load and run better than ECW format on low spec devices. If you notice some sort of loading/display issue then try the individual state maps.

Thanks Greg.

Tablet is a Samsung Note 10.1 A GT-N8010.

Will load up the full Australia 200 map and see how it goes.

Thanks for your advice.
