Possibly they only have what is on there Ebay listing there swampfox.

I bought a set of folding 160 watt panels from Bit Deals a few years ago now and found the fellow to be very helpful. In fact I blew up the small cheap PWM regulator that came with the unit because I did not receive the joiners with the panels to hook them up in parallel and thinking they had to be hooked up in series I did just that, and damaged the regulator. Admittedly it was not entirely my fault as the required parts were missing.

However after a short discussion with the guy he sent me the required parts and a new regulator, No Argument. Can't do better than that.

By the way my panel is still going as good as ever. Can't fault it. I did graduate to a better regulator after a very short time though.

A mate bought a folding panel at the same time as me and he is very happy with his as well.

Try using their ebay site to contact them for any info you may want.

Bit Deals are our first choice every time.

Cheers, Bruce.

I might also add that if you cannot get what you want from Bit Deals try Marsol Industries as I have purchased a 200 watt fixed panel off them as well.

I have had no problems with their gear either.

I just had a look on ebay and I might advise you to be very careful when buying panels off some of these new sellers there.

My 160 watt folded panel is 1200 X 540 folded or closed. (.648M2)

Now I just saw one advertised on eaby as a 160 watt folding panel and its dimensions (.53M2) were a lot less than mine so beware.

I doubt that there have been any major increases in efficiency in the last couple of years to warrant such a reduction in size as yet.

Stick with the better known suppliers or you might get stung.

Cheers, Bruce.

Swamp fox,

I received a delivery (Anderson plugs) from Bitdeals yesterday, three working days after placing my order. I have previously purchased a caravan cover and folding solar panels with never a problem.

I couldn't be happier with the price, quality and service.

Last time I looked, they had 99.9% positive feedback.

Why wouldn't you recommend them?

Your name isn't Mr Yee is it?

??

Internet businesses such as Bit Deals are just that........... internet businesses.
They can sell cheaply because they do not have the overheads of someone always available to answer the phone.
From comments on this forum, some people are very happy with Bit Deals.
Cheers

Just bought a 160w folding panel from this lot - not cheap, but built like a brick sh*t-house.
High quality unit.

I bought a few Solar Panels from Bit deals, they work well.

I also bought driving lights from Sun Yee. They have a warehouse in Altona in Melbourne that you can visit. Their service was great and I would recommend them to anyone. In my case I bought a pair of driving lights, and after about 4 months decided that I wasn't happy with the light pattern for my use. I went there to buy another set but they talked me out of it and changed the lens on mine, they even gave me the old lenses back in case I wanted them and a new set of covers, all for free. I haven't bought solar from them though. If you are in Melbourne go visit them.

I forgot to add that I had 2 x 80W folding panels, but this year upgraded to 2 thin panel semi flexible ones. MUCH better. About 4kg instead of about 15KG, and 5mm thick instead of 70mm thick. They work just as well and I velcro them to my camper so I can remove them easily. Given the price is almost the same now, I would definitely advise you to get these instead of fixed frame ones.

Would happily buy from either again

Hi to all ,
If u look into the warranty ,if the company requires the product back

Bit Deals u are required to pay for freight for returns

Sun Yee Int.
They pay for freight if needed
I even rang them out of hours and spoke to the manager who was very helpful .
This is why my vote is for them .

By the way why do people not visit the Anderson web sight ??
