Looking at spending some time at Jaspers Beach camp grounds between xmas and new year.
Am wondering if anyone has any info regarding crowds at that time of year, thinking there will be people there but not keen in camping in a madhouse.
Any info appreciated
Enjoy your festive season and stay well for the new year.
Cheers & Regards
Flighty

Flighty, in the holiday period you are talking about, accommodation of any type in the entire SW of W.A. ranges from chock-a-block to outright madness.
Jaspers Beach camping area is only a small area, and every time I've been to the general region, at holiday time, the whole area is humming.

Cheers, Ron.

Hi

No doubt a bit of a raffle down that way this time of year as far as who will be there and if they will annoy you.. basic info in EO Places...Jasper Beach. (Note - no "s" on Jasper...correct name is Jasper Beach)

Cheers
Greg

Hi Flighty.
Camping at lake jasper if you can get a spot and a couple of small areas near the access to the beach. The whole of the south coast can be a very unpleasant place to be unless you can get out of the wind this time of year, sometimes the south easterlies blow for weeks on end.
cheers Graeme.

Hi Flighty,

My advice would be to go in via Black Point and have a sticky beak in there first to check availability. It will be probably be busy but there are 3 separate camp sites within Black Point and numerous plots within each site. Then you can take the Milyeanup track through to Jasper Beach (about 30-40 mins) and check out Lake Jasper on the way and make your mind up based on availability of all 3 locations. Good Luck

Craig
