with Turtle Wax. Is that advisable? or should i use something else to make it easier to keep clean? Any thoughts

If its acrylic, you can use Brasso for a very glossy finish but you better spot test in an inconspicuous area. You can use Brasso on gelcoat if its fibreglass also.Turtle wax has no cutting power if thats needed but you could use it after for a clean beading affect. But of course, be careful. Michael

I second the pump bottle shower gel and a quick wipe with a chamois.
Prevents soap scum build up in the first instance. That's what we use at home and I swear by it. (It's my job to do the shower cleaning).
Fab.

My wife said she uses a plain wrap Mr Sheen and we wipe it out after every use.
we have owned the van from new and after nearly 3 years it is as good as new.
We are heading home to the West next week after living in the van for 8 months.
Hope this helps.
Regards

If the paint of fibreglass gel coat is in good condition, I agree wiping down the shower after use is good to keep perfect, have one of the softer spray cleaners in there.
A quick spray and wipe with soft cloth and rinse by the last person having a shower that day.
Don't use those microfibre cloths or blocks, they will dull it and make it hard to clean (ok on glass, not acrylic or fibreglass.

If the paint is in poor cond, then consider getting it professionally 2 pack spray painted.
It will last a decade + if looked after the same as above.

I have turtle waxed the walls of our last 2 vans shower cubicle and it lasts about 6 months. The water beads and runs straight down, made better if you use the shower gel as suggested, even better if you use the squeegee as well. It's certainly preferable to not doing anything and makes cleaning a lot easier.
