I towed a van through there years ago. Went from Dorrigo to Armidale. The old Nissan 3.00litre did it OK.

Danny,
As I said before, we get to Dorrigo fairly often, ex Tamworth, so up to Armidale and across. It's the Great Divide, so you can expect some hills, but nothing to be too worried about. Be sensible, take your time, enjoy the drive and all will be well.

There are a few steepish bits, but taking it easy is the best advice.

BTW, we drag a Goldstream Storm over and back with our Navara.

Hi Danny,
From Armidale to Dorrigo you are on the tablelands so nothing too drastic. Mostly rolling country with dips down into gullies and up the other side. The steep bit down the escarpment is between Dorrigo and Bellingen.

Cheers,

Val.
