My approach to such things is.. "If you don't think it's funny when it happens to you, then don't do it to anyone else!!"....

(a variation on the "Golden Rule", I guess)...

Geeeez, don't be such stick in the muds!! Obviously there are limits to what is a fair joke, but c'mon guys I don't know about you but I can laugh at myself when I'm silly enough to get sucked into somthing that is obviously full of crap. I like to laugh that's what lifes about, keeping a grin on your gob!
