Can anyone tell me what caravan parks are still operating in the northern suburbs of Brisbane and your review of the standards of their powered van sites if they are operational

Thanks

Hi Ken&rob
There should still be a fairly nice c/van park at Scarborough on the Redcliffe penninsula. There are others in that area but I have only used the one mentioned

Depends how far "NTH' you want to travel. The Lawnton Showgrounds (Petrie) about 40k from CBD is a nice spot. Handy to shop, train station .

If Aspley Acres caravan park comes up in your search, avoid the place big time. A quick google of the name should show why I mention this.

To be honest I've never read any reviews of there....I actually have my brother and a mental health worker mate who have both visited that park for work reasons, and what they have told me of the place is why I mention avoiding the place.

The Scarborough one was quite nice when I scoped it out for a friend.

Here is a map of parks centerd on Zilmere. The green pins are dog friendly. Click on the pins for more info, there are links to some of the parks web sites and Badgers caravan park reports (submitted by the likes of us.) Happy hunting.
