We have a tapped antenna and the 'labels' of the frequencies have fallen off or degenerated.
Description- It has 10 taps (not including the bottom pigtail tap)
The 2nd top tap from the top is 14977 and the 5th from the top is 8022.
All other taps are unidentifiable
It is brown in colour and about 1.9m long.
I have been in contact with Terlin giving description and info on the base- but they can't help.
Can anyone help me ??
Cheers

Just want to add:
The frequencies would be VKS737 and/or RFDS
Thanks

What are the frequencies on your transceiver, Wombat? Usually the taps on your aerial are a match for the freq. programmed on the t'ceiver.
And no doubt the RFDS frequencies would match the bases of the state you reside in. When we had to order new tapped antennas, all the frequencies would be noted on the invoice. You still got the invoice? :-)

Bob, you are assuming that the antenna came sit a transceiver.

Ha ha, yes I am, Peter.
One must make assumptions, because we only get half the story in many threads on the
forum.

If you were to contact your nearest radio/comms type
shop, and take the antenna to them, they should be able to connect it up to an antenna analyser (sp?) and identify the other frequencies.

On their website, Terlin state that the frequency numbers are 'permanently engraved' into the body (so presumably one could always ID the taps, after years of use)....sigh.

Think older ones weren't (from memory labels imbedded under thin clear resin) ..plus not all are "Terlin".
