Water on the Sandy Blight - info needed post haste

Evening all. Just got a Satphone call from the
Carnegie Retracing crew currently out in the
Gibson Desert. They are checking out their water options and have asked about the condition of "Turkey Bore" on the
Sandy Blight Junction Road.
This
Bore is on the left hand side of the track about 19 Crow flying kilometres above the top or northern most access road into Tjukurla.
The
bore has a
hand pump and it's coordinates are 24°10'38.64"S 128°34'54.37"E.
It is on an intersection of sorts, a track spearing off the SBJT to the west. It does not appear on the EO trek notes.
Has anybody been passed this
bore in recent months and if so, it it in serviceable condition and is it producing drinkable water (Not saline)?
Any info gratefully received.

I appreciate you'd like a RECENT report, but no can do.
However, I was there 12 months ago and water quality was excellent. Took a bit to prime it, but all OK. Water only a few feet down from the surface , from memory.

We ended up getting about 150 litres from it. Was a bit worried about whether the pump was there or not so took other procurement equipment just in case. The
hand pump worked fine though.
Turkey Bore
Took us 18 days to get from
Mount Webb to
Lake Breaden including quick side trip to Patjarr. (just over 800kms all up). Visited 21 unmapped Native Wells/Rockholes some with water, some dry. Tikatika had plenty of water.

Well done mate. Hard to watch it from the side lines but such is life. Bloody Tika Tika...how much did we miss it by in 2010?
