If you recommend Bathurst Bay which is the of the 4 camp sights - crocodile camp, wongai camp, oystercatcher camp or Granite.

G'day Chris , last time i was there was 2013 spent a week camped at oystercatcher , the online booking indicated that there was a few others camped there as well but when I got there there was no other camps had the entire oystercatcher to my self with shade all day.

Crocodile camp was most popular with plenty of people looked like it had better access to launch a tinnie as further up got quite shallow at low tide , crocodile & wongai are closer to the inland fresh water collection point if needing fresh water each day.

Granite area I dident like as much but closer to deeper water , seemed to be second popular spot , & can walk around the point to the H2o rock but each there own I suppose.

For a few days it blew bullets of wind off the Boulder mountains day & night!!

At low tide you can spot two ww2 engines out a bit off the beach just past oystercatcher area.

Fantastic Spot,

All areas are pretty good. To get to Granite you do need to cross a small inlet. Not too much drama but would be safer to be there with 2 vehicles.
