Grand Vitara Tyre Size

I have a set of 245/75 16x7 tyres (Cooper ST's) from a previous vehicle. I have just purchased a 2000 Grand Vitara V6. Will the 245/75's fit ok? The Suzuki's tyre size is 235/60 16x7. I would only use them for bush trips on a spare set of steel rims. Thoughts??

More than likely wil fit, but with a lot of trimming of the rear wheelwell near the back door, and possibly the back near the plastic trim/bumper.
