I agree with Bazzle, it doesn't take much, a bit of rockin you will be surpriised how easy it is. Here's the procedure, I always make sure the valves are marked with a paint pen from 1 to 12 it's easy to get confused. Move the engine to TDC check that both number 1 and 2 valve have clearance, ensuring no 1 cylinder is on the compression stroke, from the front you can then adjust 1,2,4,5,8 & 9 rotate the engine 360 degrees ensure 11 & 12 have clearance no 2 valve is closing and no 1 valve is opening adjust 3,6,7,10, 11 & 12, the gap is 0.35 mm for both exhaust and inlet. If you move the engine to TDC and find that 11 & 12 are rockin do the second set first you don't have to do the first set first if you know what I mean. Hope this helps if you don't have a manual.
