the valves i get nissan to do them but the front hubs are easy to do with the new set up you dont need to buy the locking ring which was the case on the gq the gu has a screw ring with two selftappers to hold it in place it is also hand tightend with matching holes just make sure you use a good lithium grease its easy have a go

f youve done valves before then they are quite easy.
In the manual it shows you only have to turn the engine to tdc and do 6 valves, turn to tdc again and do the other 6.
Manual gives the valve numbers.
I turn in top gear but have used the starter motor or a large socket on front pulley.

Wheel bearings same same to. Just ensure you do them nice and hand tight plus a little if they still have axial play.

all we do at work when adjusting valves is run a short wire to the starter/solonoid and just touch it on the battery when its time to turn the engine over lots easier than a spanner/socket

I agree with Bazzle, it doesn't take much, a bit of rockin you will be surpriised how easy it is. Here's the procedure, I always make sure the valves are marked with a paint pen from 1 to 12 it's easy to get confused. Move the engine to TDC check that both number 1 and 2 valve have clearance, ensuring no 1 cylinder is on the compression stroke, from the front you can then adjust 1,2,4,5,8 & 9 rotate the engine 360 degrees ensure 11 & 12 have clearance no 2 valve is closing and no 1 valve is opening adjust 3,6,7,10, 11 & 12, the gap is 0.35 mm for both exhaust and inlet. If you move the engine to TDC and find that 11 & 12 are rockin do the second set first you don't have to do the first set first if you know what I mean. Hope this helps if you don't have a manual.
