Hi Rex it is my belief that gas can only be fittted to the 3.5 litre motor. Have 2 mates with them and one is 3.5 and one is 3.0 and one is on gas but cannot recall which one. I can find out if no one else nows.
The one on gas works well and is economical.

V6 3.0l Pajero's don't like gas much.

There are a number that do , but a lot run into problems. Burnt values etc.

The 3.5's apparently can run on gas much better.

never put gas on a Pajero , even on the 2000 3.5 , which they say is ok from Mitsubishi . They do head gaskets and valves like there is no tomorrow . I dont know of any Mitsubishi that takes gas well .
