Pen you are right about
boggy hole.We travelled through it in August last year. It is the type of track that only very experienced drivers should attempt and for saftety with another vechicle. The main water crossing was about 1.3 meters deep and very long as you had to drive along the river to find a suitable exit point. Some tracks lead to dead ends in the sand and once you stop there is no going anywhere without help. We did tow a purpose built offroad trailer behind a even more purpose built fourby and had no hassells but would certainly not recommend this to the every day traveller. The sand ,and quick sand certainly gives a new meaning to the word soft ,the long stretches come with little or no notice to able to power up. But the scenery is breath taking and we will be looking foward to coming back and spending a lot more time in that little area.
see you in the bush. Glen.

Glen, Have been there a number of times over the years, but since the last few wet years, can't get over the amounts of birds & fish there and the amount of water still along the length of the Gorge. Agree with you, it is a top spot and that's why we keep going back. Cheers, pen
