Hi all
Wife n I have a cub regal supamatic, 2003 model, and love it... I'm thinking about taking the camper off the chassis, maybe strengthening the draw bar, and getting it hot dipped galvanised, as is only painted rhs, and have seen what can happen when rusted from inside out.. It is in good Nic, barring a few stone chips..
Question is, is it screwed onto chassis from under the linoleum, and I'd gather it would be also glued, does anyone have any idea on how it is attached... Or am I dreaming, and wasting my time with such a task.. Have stripped a boat trailer, before, and did the same, and was very happy with the out come.. Any thoughts on the matter will be taken on board.. Whether positive or negative... Cheers Odog
Some people want it to happen, some people wish it could happen, others make it happen!

I have my Cub Supamatic serviced by Resort Trailer (just up the road from you). In fact I dropped it off this morning for a service before going back to Flinders Ranges later next month. They are quite knowledgeable about Cubs. I would call in and ask them.

Once gain they have done a thorough job. Repacked bearings, replaced springs in calipers and bolts (one was damaged on my last trip), adjusted brakes and greased the suspension.

When beefing up trailers the main thing to concentrate on is shock absorbers. See this page - Wheels falling off trailers
