While the pop up tents like the Coleman / RV, etc are fairly quick, they can still be heavy and bulky, difficult to fit in.

We have used a Malamoo3 tent quite a bit now, and once you master the repacking / folding, they are VERY quick, easy, and robust enough with a groundsheet of shadecloth to protect the floor.

These might be ok for a stretcher in the larger size ?
Guess you'd have to check that out, or get a low stretcher :)

These are made in other sizes, 2 person, 3 person, and the 4 person, plus a few other brands (cheaper) and styles more like hiking tents.

We find the Malamoo3 is perfect for 2 of us, using the large double swag (1450mm wide) it fits in perfect length wise, and we have a little room each side for our bags too.

Snowys have the best pricing I have found for these.
They also offer included shipping Aust wide.

Oxtents are not cheap but very easy to erect and have standing height. I believe they even have a "connector" to allow it to join to caravan.

Maybe worth considering?????

Its the height requirement that doubles the pack , however we went thru same thing and found only 1 which is readily available and its 1.7m high so wife can stand up and change in it.

I can to but it messes up my hair.

Trialled the new Coleman Instant up 6 Gold in july this year before its release in
Australia's, approximately 15kg all up, full head height, very quick set up, about 4mins and able to withstand 100kph winds (not that I think I would want to be in a tent in those conditions). It also has a circular ventillation system, I was skeptical, but with it open you could actuaaly feel the cool air being drawn in at floor level.

i have used a blackstump instant tent for years, great bit of kit.
works like an umbrella, has a dual skin (permanently attached).
i own a 3P instant EURO (loads of room for a single person)
i could erect about 4 of them in the time it takes for 1 x coleman 'instant' LOL
usually just peg the base at the 4 corners in fair weather.

You say you want to go away for several weeks . You need to plan for unexpected weather then.

The Coleman Instant Ups are simply brilliant and we have two of them. However they are completely useless in the wet for any extended period as the nylon wicks so easily. If you pack it away wet, it will instantly leak next time you put it up.
My son and I used one for 3 weeks in the Vic High Country. Only two days without rain so the damned thing was water logged. Most miserable camping I've ever done.

Due to that we bought a Darche AT4 instant tent for the wet times. This is a canvas tent so does not leak or mind being packed up wet. Has heaps of headroom (Oztent does not). Its different in that its an inflatable tent. You peg out the ground floor, attach the supplied pump to its 'poles' and pump it up. Takes less than 60 sec to fully erect the whole thing. Heaps of headroom, easily get 4 people in it. Being canvas, it doesn't need a separate fly but it does have a front awning attached.
Due to its inflatable poles, its like a Tardis, bigger on the inside, the poles bow out at the sides so you have a heap more inside room.
Just used ours on a 2 month Cape York trip and its now our permanent tourer / wet weather tent.

Being inflatable gives you a bit of paranoia so we also bought a spare pump. Bit of a pooh if you can't pump it up. Was also concerned about punctures but the poles are kevlar and Darche have a video of inflated poles being driven over by a loaded 4by. Pretty bullet proof.
