Won't make a lot of difference whether it has rained on the telle track or not, if your not the first on through, the exits soon get wet and boggy from the traffic. Its nice up the Cape after a bit of rain, keeps a lots of dust down and everything looks fresher.

Thanks will probably head up Monday. Just wondered how deep the rivers get after rain but guess they go down just as quick. Did it a few years ago with Nolans producing a nice bow wave on the windscreen. I will check before crossing or let someone else test it first lol. If no good will wait or go around.

Its been dry up there this year, you won't have a problem with the creeks, hell I remember in 87 when we and about 4 other mobs built a raft out of fresh cut timber and 44 gallon drums to float the rigs across. Even nolans is low this year, probably not more than the top of tyres.

Oh ok I heard some rumours it was really wet up there. Good news then. Can't wait to get going. Seen some very muddy cars going south too.

Did the OTT 3 weeks ago. Compared to 2014 it was very very dry and creeks low. Nolans is knee deep. However it rained every few hours every day and unseasonally hot 32C days. Jardine very low. The locals said the top missed about 1200 mm of rain during the wet.
I see they still get showers today but it barely makes the dust settle. Enjoy the trip.
