Who wants to be a spy?

No, you don't have to phone a friend, just go to the 4 x 4 show in Queensland and let all of us here know if the Blue Apple LPG Energy Cell has made it's debut yet.

Emails and Phone calls to Blue Apple have drawn blanks, so I sense a conspiracy.

How's about going in with one of those U - Beaut Camera phones, and taking some piccies, and posting them up on the net.

I am sure you will have hero status once this has been acheived. Come on fella's, let the Papparazi in you kick into gear, and be the first to let the outside world know what's going on!

We are waiting.........................

Okay......... our first recruit!

your mission is as follows...........

Seriously though, there was a post alittle while back on the LPG energy cell, use search on these words and it should come up.

In a nutshell, it's a Seebeck principle, which is the opposite of those little 12 volt coolers you can buy. Instead of plugging into 12 volts, and having a heat transfer taking place ( the name of the process escapes me........ too much to drink tonight.......) you simply apply heat, and get electricity.

Very old technology, heaps of info on the net about it.

A lot of semi - conductors and the like will work in reverse. You all know about green LED's....... well, they are also used to detect light levels in solar tracking devices. Simple reverse technology.

Anyway, have alook at the archived post, that should bring you up to speed.

I dont think many people are dumb enough to pay the extortion they want to go to 4wd shows to show you maybe 10 new things for the whole show...

And days of show specials are way over the horizon back in the dream time white fella...

Fair call, but for say ten bucks each, Tracy & I can spend a whole afternoon together, look at stuff that would cost us more in time and money to travel around, even here in Adelaide.

And............. when you take your partner to these things, it just seems so much easier to justify buying things........ you KNOW what I mean............

Ian,
The latest recruit to SWMBO's menagerie of animals came with the justification, "well, it was no more than your roof racks!"
Sometimes it just doesn't pay to get out of bed.
