Ian,
I have a couple of answers here for you :
If you want the dual system for starting (eg if you have the diesel) then I would suggest a walk to your Holden dealer - the latest roo has a dual battery system fitted for the diesel and if you get them to fit it the warranty will not be affected.
If it is for running a
fridge or winch etc then check the Pirahna range - they have some great systems.
BUT !
Isnt there always a but !
You may want to check with some of the more liberally minded autoelectricians around, or request the appropriate wiring details from Liemack fridges in SA, as some people are now wiring their batteries to provide 24volts to their fridges (makes for a very fast
fridge, but obviously only where this is designed in) and relies on the voltage cutout to protect the starting capabilities of the vehicle.
Choices, choices, choices !
Joe

Hi Joe
Many thanks for your comments. I have investigated the Dual battery system by Holden but it appears that it is no long a line item. However I am exploring two options.
1/ The Piranha Dual Battery Kit
2/ Purchase the components separately such as the Dual battery mounts, Battery and a control Kit put out by Jaycar.
