Do you wear aftershave? It kills steering wheels if you don't wash your hands properly after using it.

Yes it is leather and no I don't wear aftershave. wheel has two rough patches twelve oclock on top where I rest my hand and about 4 0'clock. I am intending to complain next service though was wondering if anyone else had similar as I am sure they will say it is something that has come into contact with wheel. Seems unlikely as it originally happened at top and later at the side. It is not completely peeled but a bit unpleasant under hand and not what you expect in an expensive vehicle that is one year old.
