David, would it be possible to have a button..."mark board as read" ?

This way, when we surf & come back and reload, we can quicly identify new posts.

Cheers

Ian

As a member, doesn't it already do this for you. If you go to "My Home" there is a section that tells you how many new forum posts and replies there have been since you last looked.

I think this only resets every 24 hours, looks like it works on startdate.

What I mean is, if I go surfing for a while, come back, and instantly see on the actual forum page any new posts, replies or followups.

Geez Wolfie, from what I've seen (& I'm not saying this is a bad thing), you're never gone from the site long enough to log out.

I need these things badly Mike, because sooner or later, Tracy is going to have me downstairs digging holes, so as well as coming up for air, I can get up to speed with all the latest developments here on the forum. Maybe if I take a computer downstairs......... sort of like progress reports......... Wolfies Dungeon Cam.......

See I do listen - I wanted the view counter for some time anyway. I have now added this last night so the counts are being displayed and are current since 4AM EST - Yes a very late night making this and a reconstruction on the database to allow views and also the storing of another date and time value to allow me to implement member views to be seen upto the second.

Enjoy....
