HILUX Shocks and Springs

G'day All,

I am in desperate need of springs and shocks for my 1990 Dual Cab Hilux.

Have decided on OME's for the shocks but I am not too sure about springs.

If anyone can advise on a good strong 4wd springs and how much I should expect to pay for them that would be great. I was quoted $1250 for Cross Country springs and OME shocks and steering damper plus shackles etc. Dont know if this is reasonable and had never heard of Cross Country springs.

Apart from day to day driving, I am mainly using the truck for offroad treks so corrugations and a heavy load in the back are the main concerns.

hello
we recently had the front springs redone with 5 leaves for not quite $200.00 incl GST. have been quoted a brand new set of fronts for $250.00 by the 4x4 people at strathpine in qld. Made in india but what the heck as they all sag. the lift is 2 inches . we have not yet had to replace rear springs in ten years.
also we found the shackles were ok but sometimes the pins and bushes wear but cheap to replace if needed
hope this helps you
cheers
