We have had steady rain since about 5am at Portland. Those of you who are going to Hill End this weekend should take care as the bridal trail will be very slippery especially along the black soil river flats. If the forcast of heavy rain holds true, the Turon river will be up a bit. Tomorrows local forcast is for lengthy sunny periods and fine, then fine and warm Sunday, showers for Monday.
I would take lots of bug spray as the flies have been bad in recent days.
But most of all enjoy yourself!!

Last time I saw the Turon out at Sofala it was dust!? Loved camping out there on the river bank across the bridge...
