We use all digital maps these days and use the Natmap Raster 250K and Hema GDT, Meridian VIC, Ratser 50K SW WA. These coupled with OziExplorer are an excellent fit for general vehicle based travelling. 50K, 100K maps are great for walking however you tend to need many for vehicle based work. I guess it depends on what you are looking for and the level of exploring you want to do in a specific area.
Prior to our fully digital fitout we used (and still take) a Hema road atlas. We also used Hema & Westprint paper maps.
BTW: If you are after any 25 or 50K maps we have access to all of them via the
shop at ExplorOz we have just need been able to easily maintain them all on the database yet. We are working on it. Once they are loaded and geo-referenced into the Map Geometry system they will be enabled online, however if you want one now let me know.

I just bought some Sunmap 1:25000 maps today (Qld) and the map
shop guy told me that the Govt was in the process of changing from paper maps to digital. He said soon we would be able to just ask for a map and then buy it on disk. Save me scanning it in so I can use it on OziExplorer.
