Bit late now :-)))) Haven't heard anyone's experiences with Pedders. What springs are you using? If you do any amount of offroading, some heavy duty springs with a bit of lift improve your clearance and stops the front end dipping as far under brakes, or when going downhill.

Factory shocks are as good as any, and more reliable than the rest. I just fitted a new set of factory shocks to my friend's 90series - cost $204 for the 4 shocks as they were on special at the local Toyota dealer. Also fitted lifted, HD springs ($304).

I wasn't going to go into it, but seeing you asked, it is more of a case of the after sales service that I didn't get when it suffed up after only 10,000k's blah blah blah.

In every product you will buy , you will find someone tell you they had one stuff up blah blah blah . I ran them a while ago and was very happy . Have fitted them to frends cars in the past , never had a issue . I also know why you didnt fit foam cell in the front . You think foam cell struts would have come down in price by now .

And for those who want to jump the Gun and shoot me for not running them now . They dont make a 5 inch lift shocker .

BANG...

Sorry Eric, you left it WIDE open though

On the subject though, never had them on a 4by but had them on last two family cars... Very happy, even when one failed at 7k, after sales was excellent... guess it depends on the outlet and who you speak to at the outlet.

Hi markline,

I have foam cells on the front of my 80 series, and have had them for the past two years. The only problem that I have had is the rubber bushes. I have had to replace two so far and another has recently disintegrated. Unfortunately, the bushes have gone on my long trips, and I haven't been in a position to replace them where I have been. I will be replacing them before the next big trip and will carry the peddars as spares if needed.

Cheers
