Back in the late 80's in the silly hours of the morning you could get away with it. But these days {although the road is in much better condition } there is far too many other road users
on the road and its just not safe not just for the rider .I dont want to terrorise car drivers. Back in the 80's you would pass maybe 30 or so cars during the day and maybe 5 cars at night on that road. These days its a few hundred.
Still a favourite run is wismans ferry to the Bicentanary road up to colo heights ,putty road to broke, back of Cessnock to maitland, maitand via the clance valley to Sth Bulladulla ,lake way through foster to taree.
Its the best way for a 4 hour run.woops make that 6 hour run in the terrano.
