Dry as a bone

I am sure someone here can point m ein the right direction , my wife washed my dry as a bone , and now it dosnt have that oily feel to it any more lol . Is it ruined ? or can i re coat it with oil ? and were can I get some ? if that is the case.

What is the best way to keep your dry as a bone clean after a muddy weekend ?

I bought a can of stuff (from the shop we'd bought the drizabone at) to re-coat it after washing - you just rub it on i think - never got my swmbo to use it - it was his Drizabone i'd washed, after all.

Eric,
Warm the Tin of Driza-bone Oil in Boiling Water then Paint it on every ware especially on the Seams then use SWMBO’s Hair-Dryer to get the white-ish finish off it then store the Coat Flat in a Placky Bag. Too Easy you may need a big tin depending on the Coat size…………
